Again-some of these have already been reviewed. There were no flops:D
Spicy Chicken and Arugula Sandwich-CL-J/F/04-a agree with others-this was very good. I used McCormick's fajita seasoning, and subbed spinach for the arugula (couldn't find any). This was even good left over (cold).
Spicy Steak Fries-CL-3/00-these were good, but nothing special...oven fries are oven fries-what can you say.
Pineapple-Coconut-Banana Upside-Down Cake-CL-J/F/04-after reading other reviews I reduced the brown sugar to 1/2 cup and used Splenda in place of the granulated sugar. This was very yummy. The DH really loved it-he loves anything coconut.
Chicken and Barley Stew-CL-J/F/04-So easy to prepare, and quick. This was extremely tasty for so few and simple ingredients. I did add garlic though. I also prepared it in one pan instead of 2. I sauted the onion and garlic first, then added the broth and barley to that and finally the remaining ingredients.
and finally, the star of the weekend....Sour Cream Babka-CL-J/F/04-...Man oh man this is a show piece:D It looked just like the picture and tastes wonderful. Look what I have been missing all these years!! I did it on the dough cycle of my bread machine, adding the fruit at the "beep". Put it in the Bundt pan for the second rise and baked. This thing is huge-it rose beautifully. Yum, Yum, Yum:D
