Has anyone ever made fish sticks from scratch? My kids are on a kick where they want these almost every day, and I don't like to give them the frozen ones very often. I have made chicken fingers by dipping strips of chicken breast in flour, egg white, and bread crumbs -- do you think I could just do the fish the same way? Would you freeze them without cooking, or would you bake and then freeze? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
