Please Help!! I am hosting a luncheon tomorrow and hoping someone will come to my rescue! I want to try the Gallette in the Nov. issue. I don't want a dessert that is going to be a disappointment. Anyone that could give any suggestions, please reply! Thanks!!!

i made this a few weeks ago and everyone LOVED it! it was incredibly easy to make (only took me about 15 mins from start to oven) and it was a nice fruity dessert, not too rich or anything.
i definitely recommend it. and don't omit the rum unless you really have to! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

It's me again. I made the Gallette and no one cared for it! They thought the rum taste was too strong. I used "Meyers Dark Rum". I soaked the raisins for 1 hour. I would make this again but next time I will soak the raisins in water then proceed.
