Which recipes are pending?

The Best of 2000 thread got me thinking about the recipes from 2000 CL issues that I've been meaning to try, but haven't gotten around to yet. These include Molasses Barbecued Chicken Drumsticks (Aug), Peanutty Noodles (May), Fragrant Lentils with Rice (Mar), the cheesecake recipes from August, and German Chocolate Bundt Cake (Sep), among others. Maybe now would be a good time, while waiting for the Jan 2001 issue.

Any other procrastinators out there?

I NEVER get to make all the recipes I want to. Never enough time to cook, $$ to cook, or meals in the day!

There are so many recipes that I'd like to try that it is impossible to mention them all. There are at least 3-4 from each month! The two of us can only eat so much food and my DH insists on having some of his favorites from time to time rather than a new recipe.

I also have a recipe wish list of things I don't have time to try before the new issue comes out. I keep thinking that someday I'll have more than 24 hours in a day to get caught up on this and everything else that I want to get to.

I too am behind on my "must trys". Kim is so right, there are not enough meals time or $$.

How funny! I was just thinking the same thing b/c I received lots of new cookbooks for Christmas which only adds to the many recipes I've been meaning to try... Sometimes it seems like I rarely repeat recipes we really love b/c I'm constantly wanting to try others. Anyone have any suggestions on how they balance this?
