I'm amazed again this month at the cooking tips that earned free subscriptions for the contributor of each tip. One was to put lemon and lime rinds through your garbage disposal to make it smell nice. One was to make your own flavored coffee by putting a little cinnamon in the coffee grounds before the coffeemaker starts dripping. One was to use a clean broomstraw instead of a toothpick to test for cake doneness. Sheesh, I wonder if I should send in the tip to use old Target bags for bathroom trash can liners?! These things are so obvious!!! There are always a few really innovative ideas, but every month there is one that could have earned me a free subscription! I'm going to go sit and think of some right now...;)

Hee! :D I also think that some of the "tips" are pretty lame. I've always thought ideas like "put a lemon rind in the disposal," etc. were common knowledge.
