Karen, just wanted to let you know I pray for Simon every night, and his name is on my church's prayer list. How is he doing? Any improvement? My thoughts are with you all.

Here's a brief note I got from Simon's dad just this morning.
"...Thank you for all of the prayers- they truly worked. Simon is doing
great, we are not able to detect any problems, he is talking (throat is a
little sore from the ventilator that was in for 6 days), he is acting the
same (a little tired). We have been told that he will be out of ICU this
afternoon and will probably be home at the end of the week. It is truly
amazing.."

What a miracle and proof of the power of prayer. Please thank your prayer group for their prayers.

Wonderful! So glad to hear Simon's recovering. Hope his parents are doing okay too -- it will take them awhile to feel safe again. It's sobering to realize that your life can change in an instant. My best wishes to you all!

Also glad to hear of Simon being better! I thought of him this morning when I heard this story on the local news:

A 2 yr old boy was found wandering the streets, starving and obviously abused.

Can you believe it? Your family is so concerned about this accident while another family is intentionally hurting thier child. It made think of how luck Simon is to have people to care about him and pull for him!
