i just started gettin it (free from credit card ppl) and this new mos has some great looking recipes in it! (NOT light!)

One is a Pear-Raspberry cobbler! Mmm, if i get a chance I'll type it out for ya! (or if they put it on thier website soon!)

Another is the featured FoodNetwroks Chefs, with some of their recipes, Emeril has a great hot sauced fried chicken recipe I want to try!

btw, I have my 3 yr old dd LOVING Emeril! She know who he is!! lol When ever i scan the channels, she'll see him, and yells, Emeril Lagasse!!! rofl!! Taught her young! (about cooking that is! ~;0)

anyway....the recipes look good!

Hi Rachelle,
I used to have a subscription to McCall's & still buy it once in awhile. I love their recipes and have saved many of them over the years.
That is so adorable about your 3 year old, lol! When my kids were younger, they loved to cook with me and still do sometimes. You may have the makings of a Chef on your hands!
My neighbors daughter whose 3, says BAM!!! & waves her hand over her plate at dinner ALL the time & it's driving her Mom nuts, lol! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif Zinnia

I don't get the magazine, but get to look at my Mom's sometimes. Is it McCall's that is going to become the Rosie O'Donnell magazine? Read that in the paper recently, I think.

My son, now 7, used to watch Emeril everyday as he ate lunch before running off to kindergarten. He then discovered Ming Tsai, the Green Groccer and Sarah Moulton. Then Animal Planet set in. The boys (4 & 7) both help in the kitchen, especially if I'm baking, but I have to compete for TV time.
