In Cooking Lights recipe for Thai Scallops with Asparagus it calls for chili puree with garlic sauce. Has anyone tried this recipe?I haven't been able to find the chili puree and was wondering if I could substitute Thai green curry paste for the chili puree.

Suggestions welcomed! Thanks

I have not tried the recipe but know that a brand called "Thai Kitchen" has a wonderful selection of Thai ingredients; chili paste, shrimp paste, fish sauce, oyster sauce, just to name a few. I would think that the curry would really alter the taste of a recipe from just chili paste. Guess not too much help?
