Phoebe-Regards Concerning Your Spice/Herbs Purchasing

Ther was a thread called "Your opinoins on buying spices/seasonings" and you said the ones you used most frequently you ordered in glass and the ones used less frequently you ordered in plastic...seems just the opposite to me. Is glass more pourous than plastic? Are all those herbs/spices I buy in glass jars even more fragile?

Hi, sneezles! -- The reason I buy the less-used herbs and spices in the plastic jars has to do with size, not material. The plastic jars are 1/4 cup, and the glass jars are 1/2 cup or larger.
