I sent a note to one of the people advertising the ************* website, asking them to please stop posting their advertisements on this website. Thought you'd be interested in reading his response (verbatim, as was written to me):
First off Sandy Im not advertising anything. I found a really cool site and wanted to share it at cooking related website. Secondly Ill have you know a number of people have emailed me with a positive responce to my postings. Thirdly Im not hurting anyone, Im only trying to be helpful. So keep your "lousy" opinions to yourself please.
Guess I hit a nerve. I still don't believe him.

Sandy! I, too, got a response after sending a message to one of those jerks. It wasn't a nasty message, I simply explained that we would not log onto thier site since we were not thrilled with them advertising on the BB. All the response said was "What are you talking about? I never advertised anything". Oh well. We know the truth.

Can't believe anyone would respond like that! Hopefully, he'll keep his "lousy" website and posts to himself!

There is a thread on the MSN We're Cooking Now Message Board about a response to Susann's (I think) email. It was definitely more professional and asked for more information. I don't know if she has yet replied to it.

Is that a good site?

Yes, there is a chat room, message board, recipes (not CL ones), pictures and other good stuff. If you're not a member you can email lindrusso at her address listed in her profile and she will send you the information to join (it's a private/locked site).

Thanks Sneezles - I'm trying to get hooked up with Lindrusso's chat site - still in progress. I just didn't realize that was the name of it.

Yes, it was I who made a pest out of myself and sent an email to Nestle. I got a response (it took about a week, though)from someone in charge of internet somethingorother apoligizing for the inconvenience to all of us. He also asked for the links so he could 'get to the bottome of it.' I will keep everyone posted when I hear something.
I sent a note and thought it went through, then I got a delivery failure after several days. Wonder if that was for real. Maybe we should send our comments directly to the sponsor of that site. I can't believe that so many single time posters would coincidentally find that site and get excited enough about it to post here about recipes that are incongruous with this site.
