I am going to be making pumpkin bread tonight and rather than making it in the regular loaf pan, I thought I would try some of my smaller loaf pans (maybe they are 3" x 5" - does that sound right? I am so bad at guessing). How would that affect my cooking time?

Don't know which recipe you are making but when I made the CL Pumpkin Struesel Bread I used 8x3 7/8 size pans and it made 3 of those. I believe the original recipe called for the larger pan and it made 2 loaves. So I'm guessing 3X5 would make 5 loaves and you would lower your cooking time about 10 minutes-just guessing!

I'm pretty sure it will take alittle less than the big pan. Just use the toothpick-in-the-middle to make sure its not gooey inside.
(I was surprised when I used my small pans that it wasn't half the time called for in the large pan.)

When I make small loaves the time is @ 45 minutes rather than 1hr for the regular loaf.
