This is an old CL recipe (maybe from 2000 or 1999?) that I made for a friend's birthday - didnt see any reviews when I searched. Its delicious and simple to make

Chocolate Banana Trifle

2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup evaporated fat free milk
3Tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup Kahlua
1 16 oz angel food cake, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 (1/4oz) Skor or heath bars, chopped
3c fat free milk
3 (3.4 oz) packages vanilla instant pudding (not sugar free)
2c sliced banana, divided
1 (12oz)container reduced calorie whipped topping, divided

1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook until sugar is dissolved and mixture is thick (~3min), stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in Kahlua. Cool.
2. Combine chocolate mixture and cake in a large bowl, stir in chopped candy bars, reserving 1Tbsp for topping. Set aside
3. Beat 3 cups milk and pudding mix at medium speed until well blended. Stir in cake mixture, cover and chill 15 minutes.
4. Spoon half of cake mix into a trifle dish or bowl. Arrange 1 cup bananas evenly over cake mix. Top with half of whipped topping. Repeat layers, end with whipped topping. Sprinkle with reserved 1 Tbsp of candy bar. CHill 1 hour. Yield 16 servings (serving size is 1 cup)

This looks like a lightened version of an old recipe I have called "Death by Chocolate". I bet it WAS good! Thanks for posting your review. I may give this a try next time instead of the old version!
