Need Graduation Gift ideas for DH

Ok I need all the help I can get. DH is graduating from MBA school in May and I really want to do something special for him. This was always a dream of his and I am so proud of him for pursuing it while dealing with having a wife and kid ;) !

I was going to just get him a gift...like a PDA, monogrammed glasses, TiVo...but THEN, I read RebeccaT's surprise for her husband and thought I can do much more...but what? I know it is not the gift that counts (we don't have much to spend right now), but I really want to do something special with the presentation. I know I am being really vague, but I want to get some ideas. So if you have surprised your spouse, children, significant other, friend, or anyone else in a pretty spectacular way, I want to hear it!

Does he mention wanting something he just won't spend the money on? As an example, DH wanted the collectors addition of the Beatles CD's but would not spend the $$ on it. So when he graduated that's what I got him. PDA's are another good idea. They may never part with the money but would like one. I'll keep thinking.

YOU mentioned the PDA, I was just agreeing. :p

It would be nice if you could have all the important dates and what not in there for him but I don't envy you getting it typed in. :D

I didn't do anything special with my gift, it just got put on the gift table with everything else- I threw him a suprise party. Have you thought about that? A PDA and party may be more than what you want to spend. I enjoyed planning it and getting him there. His brother did give it away right after the ceremony :( but I pulled it off right up that. We had fun.

I hope you get some more suggestions.

BTW, did you notice that this thread like disappeared yesterday? I didn't try a search but I did peruse back a good ways and couldn't find it. :confused:
