Well, here I am, 10 on a Tuesday night. Wide awake, nothing on TV, just got back from the bar/chinese food. My book is boring the heck out of me. I do NOT reccommend it, by the way. Russka by Edward Rutherford. I loved his other stuff, but this one is driving me up the wall.
Anyone else bored on a Tues. night??

I am. I went to the store to pick up a prescription and couple fo things, ran into my cousin and talked in the aisle for nearly an hour and came home with my neck hurting. Stupid, really, but I'm so tired, but not ready to go to bed. Too tired to try reading and not interested in picking up my knitting. DH is on his computer doing some on-line continuing education he has put off until the very last minute.

Yeah, that sounds about right. The listless "i don't know WHAT I want" feeling.
On the other hand, how cool that you can run into your cousin in the store! My nearest cousin lives a good 4-6 hours away. And the furthest lives in Albania:D

Technically speaking, she's a cousin of my dad's -- or the daughter of his cousin, but I just figure that makes us cousins of some sort. I know we talked about this stuff once -- in family law or wills and trusts or just for fun somewhere, but it's not like it really matters to me enough to remember. At some point, everyone's an aunt, uncle, cousing or friend or they don't matter. Right? ;) :D

Probably should have pointed out that my cousin just moved down here 2-3 years ago -- I grew up 1500 miles or more from all my cousins.

I think I have decided to go take a muscle relaxer and go to bed. That's what my body is telling me -- I should listen. The cat that was sleeping in my room has come out to tell me it is time -- just in case I'm not paying attention to my body. She's the one we call the nanny cat.

Goodnight all.

Have a good night Beth. Hope the relaxer works. I had to indulge in a round of popcorn with olive oil, black pepper and kosher salt. Yum. But I should really go to bed too:p

Hi there!

I can so relate to your moods! I had planned a night of reading but then the beeper went off and I had to run down to the pharmacy to fill and deliver an order. That killed my reading time! Now, I'm in limbo. Too late to settle into reading but too early to go to bed because I don't feel that tired.

What to do....:o

WEll, i got caught up on some emails and letters that I have been avoiding. The obligatory family letters that sort of thing. Then I had another go at my book:p I just can't give up. I feel guilty if I put a book down and don't finish it. i am thinking i could update my address book next;)
Do you have a cut off time for your beeper, or does it go off at all hours of the night?

We are on-call 24/7 so there are those 2AM calls to deal with. DH is doing the early shift tomorrow, so he was in bed at 8AM. Has to get up for work at 3:45AM. Yuck!! Therefore, I'm the one that takes the calls. I think I have the better part of the arrangement!!:)

BTW - your popcorn sounds wonderful! Too bad you can't e-mail or PM me some!!:D

I know what you mean about reading a book. If I start one, I feel an obligation to finish it.

I bought a new address book 2 years ago and I have still not transferred the info out of the old one. I'm hopeless!!

It does sound like you have the better part of the deal there:p
I would gladly share my popcorn, don't think it would travel too well though...
My address book is about six years old and has some pages that are the same person, with 5 addresses crossed out from every tiem they have moved. I know if I bought a new one I would never do the work of transferring, though.:o

Now that you know me, you'll have another page of that as well :) My mom has taken to either writing my address on scraps of paper or in pencil :o Good morning, by the way!

yes, I already have one crossed out for you:p and I would do the slips of paper thing, but then I would never be able to communicate with anyone because I would lose them all!!! I think pencil is the way to go;)

Doing the evening shift this week. Another RX person here!
I got home about 1145 last night. Usually even if I'm a tad tired, I'm still a bit wired after work and stay up for awhile.

As far as the address book, I finally transferred a lot of my addresses, etc to my PDA. So handy.:)
