View Full Version : Anyone catch last night's Apprentice?

I didn't catch it all, but saw enough to see Omarosa flat out lie. I really don't like her.
THen this morning on the radio, they were playing clip's from yesterday's Oprah, which asked how she thought she was portrayed after editing. she answered something like, "Like all black women in reality TV over the past 10 years--as a very angry.....woman". I can't remember all of it--as i was still in bed trying to snooze :) but she did use the words 'black women....angry'.

Anyhow, it's down to Kwami and Bill. I'm pulling for Bill. I'm surprised Kwami made it this far. It seems like he's just sort of flown under the radar. Since Omarosa is on Kwami's team, she may pull his team down, based on what little I saw last night.

I watched last night....after watching Oprah which I had tivo'd as I knew who was going to be on. Omarosa is just unbelievable, her stance was that yes, Erika had called her the "n" word, but she has forgiven her and is in a place of peace now. Can you believe that? Poor Erika couldn't really get her point across and if she really didn't say it, what a horrible thing to accuse someone of. Personally, I don't believe a word Omarosa says, and that feeling was definetely solidified when she blatantly lied on the show last night. I can't stand her.

It'll be interesting to see who wins! I'll miss the finale since we'll be on vacation, but I'm going to vote for Kwami..

Oma the Rosa is irritating enough, but how about Amy? She totally blew the interview from what clips they showed. You know that anyone who makes it that far would get lots of great job offers from great companies...but what does Amy do? She poses in nasty lingerie for some kind of skin magazine along with three other girls from the show. What were they thinking? It was on one of the network morning shows this morning. I doubt it was a smart career move, although she does have a nice body!:D :D :D

I only started watching the show in the middle of the season, but from what I've seen, I really like Kwame. I am pulling for him to win, although it sounds like from what Trump's advisors saw yesterday, they were more impressed with Bill. Either way, I think they've got two great candidates left.

I also was only half watching when they were choosing their teams - did Kwame purposely pick Omarosa? Why would he do that?? I'm pretty sure I saw that Heidi was the last one picked, so it's not like he got stuck with Omarosa. Maybe it was the lesser of two evils.

I am so appalled by Omarosa's blatant lying. I felt so sorry for Erika on Oprah. Racism is a serious charge. If anyone accused me of using that vile word I would not let it drop and I probably wouldn't be as gracious as Erika was. I was disappointed that Oprah did not call Omarosa on her obvious inconsistencies- she said it was Erika, then that she didn't name who it was and then when caught in a lie she professed she had forgiven and moved on.

I can not abide any forms of racism and I can not abide someone using such a potent situation to make themselves look better.
I also thought Omarosa's snide comment about Erika not having a job to be another example of her true character.

I hope this link works....I just came across it during my daily dose of "gossip surfing":-)

Kima, I so agree with you! I was dissapointed as well that Omarosa wasn't really "called on the carpet"....I had also seen her on "The View" when she first made the accusation and couldn't believe what I heard. She was taking such cheap shots at Ereka..But hey, what goes around comes around.

I was surprised that Kwame picked Omarosa as well but not surprised at how she handled things. I think it will be a shame if Kwame loses because she didn't do the job she was assigned. Although - I felt that Kwame really should have stepped up a little more when he found out what happened. She just really rubs me the wrong way and I couldn't believe that she was on the stage with Oprah yesterday but Ereka and Heidi were down in the audience. I felt that they should have all been up there or all down in the audience. Anyone else want to cut off Omarosa's hands so she would stop touching Trump? DH kept yelling at the TV to stop touching him...it was funny. He also said he was going to write a letter expressing his disappointment to Oprah and how she put the other two in the audience.

I heard she was publishing a book about behind the scenes of the show and I had heard a teaser about the job thing but didn't hear the whole thing so thanks for the link aprilbride...now I can tell DH about it - he didn't believe me and I couldn't find anything on it the other day! :D

I'm bored at work today so I thought I'd see what else I can find..apparently Omarosa has her own website www.omarosa.com. Rarely does someone rub me the wrong way and I don't usually care enough to give people like that a second (or third) thought, but for some reason I feel the urge to really tell her how unattractive of a person (not lookwise, personality wise) she comes across as. ..

I'm not even going to comment on how much I don't like Omarosa, or else I'll get all fired up and start ranting and meanwhile I'm supposed to be working... Just wanted to know if anyone else has seen that hotels.com commercial where the chick is using a tape measure to measure distance. It's just a quick glance in the beginning of the commercial, but I swear that's the Evil One herself in that commercial... Has anyone else seen it? Or am I just imagining the Evil One...

I haven't seen it....But I'm right there with you, she gets me soooo fired up I could go on and on (hence the internet searches for more dirt!:-)) I wish I hadn't seen that Oprah show yesterday...and I wish she hadn't returned to "The Apprentice". I can't stand watching her anymore..But I'm sure she just loves all the attention she is getting now, regardless of how negative it is..and that bugs me even more since I'm wasting all this time thinking about how much I can't stand her....I'm weak  I need to find something to do:mad:

Leah, you and I seem to be the only ones left in this discussion...What does it mean? Hmmm....Everyone else has probably decided not to waste any more energy on the subject! Maybe it means we're beyond help;)

No, I think the boards are just super slow with it being Good Friday. Lots of people either have the day off or have an early out. (I'm hoping for an early out myself to beat traffic).

I missed the last few minutes of the show...but it doesn't surprise me that OmaRosa lied...what else is new ;) I just don't get why Kwame picked her. I keep hoping that Kwame will say those magic words to his employee...You're Fired :D

LOL. I was out running errands on lunch. Now I'm back to work...

I just wonder what her lying so blatantly will do for her job chances? Though, since she lives/works in DC and is in politics, that probably won't matter a whole lot.

We're probably just some of the few that have to work today...

Let me just add that I wasted more time (so have spring fever and Friday-itis!) going to Omarosa's web site. Ew.

And I have no opinion on Kwame versus Bill. I like them both, but I feel like there's something under the surface of Bill... he's a bit too "honest" and "fairminded"... a little suspicious here. Not that it matters, I still like them both.

Okay, back to pretending to work again...

That would absolutely be a beautiful thing! I hope you're right, Tyra, I'd love to hear him say those words to her. Allthough she probably couldn't care any less because she thinks she's sooo fabulous:rolleyes:

It is kind of sad that we let her bug us so much..All my anti-TV friends would be doing this    Oh and that would be my DH as well!
So what exactly did "Oma" say on the View???
You can not make such a serious allegation and then run for cover. I hate the race card being used by anyone-back up your words with proof.

Oprah is not an investigative reporter but this is a serious matter IMHO. Like I said accuse me of something that vile and you better be prepared for a fight!
:(

Edited to add i just read about Erika threatening a slander suit agianst her- good for her. No one who is innocent should take that kind of thing lying down.

Her website seems pretty tame..I figured she'd toot her own horn a lot more.

I'm also plagued by Springfever, Friday-itis and pre-vacation-itis, a bad combination of ailments which lead to increased internet time and long lunches:D

::delurking::

Just wanted to add something. When Donald and Heidi were on the View, I'm pretty sure he said that on all the hours of tape from the multiple cameras they did not find what Omarosa is alleging. So, I think if Erika did sue her for slander she would have a pretty good case.

check out the New York Post. Search for Omarosa and they have several articles on her. I thought that she had already be "fired" by Trump. As a matter of fact, one of the articles back in March make it sound like Trump fired her.

I read the same thing, that the producers went through every hour of tape and not once was the "n word" found.

Leisa:
She was fired. For the finale they brought back 6 of the fired people (Heidi, Omarosa, Troy, Amy, and 2 others) so Bill and Kwame would have a team of employees to do the last task

Why did they even bring her back? Solely for the controversy everyone knows she'd cause? What if in the end her "lie", which seems to have caused a big mess up, costs Kwami "The Job"? Just thinking out loud....

The only instance I remember when Ereka said something remotely like that was when she told Oma about the pot calling the kettle black, or something like that. Oma was angry because she figured it was a racist comment.

And yes, she rubs me the wrong way too. I guess that's what happens when we have to work on such a slow day. ;)

I can't stand her either!! But, it would take me too long to type up what I really think about her...and it would probably be censored too!

I like Kwame, but I think Bill might win just because K is more quiet and doesn't seem as "tough" as Bill.

OK, this might sound strange...but I wonder if the Jessica Simpson being "lost" at the airport was a test of some sort for the team???

The people they brought back to "work for" Bill & Kwame were the last six to be let go -- strictly a hierarchy thing.

P.S. Oprah IS an investigative reporter -- she got her TV start as a reporter for one of the Nashville TV stations. I like her, but she's not always as fair as she should be in terms of letting people tell their full story.

Well, if it costs Kwame the job he has no-one but himself to blame. Omarosa was not the last pick...he chose her, didn't get stuck with her. I think it is an interesting twist that they got to pick their final teams since it is a test of who you would hire....

Hi Kima!

it's in Queens, NYC. It's really close to JFK Airport, so when the weather is just right, I have planes landing on my head (well, almost!). But I swear I can see people's faces behind the windows at times! ;)

There is also a large Wildlife Refuge nearby, a wetlands area where me and DH love to go for walks and try to spot what my husband calls 'fat badgers'. They are definitely mammals but we don't know what they are. And we also love to watch the seagulls do the clamdip dance. They pick up clams from the ocean and drop them from way up high on the beach, to break them and eat the flesh. :)

Might they be Nutria?

I had never heard of them until I moved to FL and my front porch of my apt. faced a little pond. I would see a couple of them on occasion, and even gave them part of my lunch at times (fruit). A coworker told me what they were and said they were rodents--to consider them a giant rat. :) I think they also live in swamplands in Louisiana and surrounding areas.

DH used to see nutria all the time at the lake in west Texas where he hung out as a kid - he said some of them were the size of small dogs.

The only one I've ever seen was in Oregon. We were having lunch at Red Robin (a burger chain), which was located right next to the main mall in Eugene -- think strip-center type setting. We were sitting at a table near the front of the restaurant, and it was a gorgeous day so they had the front doors open. DH was facing outside and said, "Look, there's a nutria on the front lawn." I looked and sure enough, there was this big giant rat-looking thing hanging out on their grass. It was the most bizarre thing. I think he might have been lost.

Well who knew I would learn about an animal I had never heard of on an Apprentice thread! It looks a bit like a beaver....

Thanks for explaining where you live Angelina. Sounds like there is always something to watch out your window- who needs TV????:D

I know Oprah was a reporter but I don't think the purpose of her show is to grill people. I just think on such a sensitive issue she should at the very least asked Omarosa to elaborate on her charge-I was disappointed for sure. Maybe Oprah was concerned The Donald wouldn't get enough time to plug his book.
