Couldn't find a thread on this recipe and am planning to make it tonight. Was wondering if it needed any tweaking.
I'm editing to say that I liked this. I didn't go hopping around the house with joy but it was definitely something I'll make again. Next time, though (because I can't leave well enough alone), I might try a different jelly or preserves instead of the apple. Raspberry came to mind. I think I expected more of an 'apple' taste. I brought a piece for lunch and see how it is now that it's had a chance to stew in it's own juices, so to speak. I might also saute some garlic before adding the salmon.
One thing I did like was how quickly and nicely the salmon cooked. I will definitely use the cook on top of the stove and transfer to the oven method again.
