Has anyone tried the Buffalo Chicken w/ Blue cheese Fondue?

Just wondered if anyone tried this, it is in the Best Of CL 2. We have a "snack food" night tonight for dinner and I am looking for fun and healthy ideas for family, two teenagers! Thanks!

Well, I went ahead and made it last night, it was just okay. Nobody really cared for the heavy blue cheese in the fondue sauce, I used very good blue cheese, but this was not a hit, unfortunately. My son went and grabbed some blue cheese salad dressing out of the frig, and that was better. So, I wouldn't recommend it. Oh well, it is fun to experiment.

I KNOW this is an old recipe, but with all the talk about fondues and such, I had to pull out this old one on my to do list. First of all, I served this as dinner for the two of us (the weekend is always the time to try new things). We found the cheese to be wearing after awhile. The Buffalo chicken would be much better grilled, but I added more bottled sauce than the recipe called for to give it more flavor. I found the cheese to be extremely quick to make, fast and I especially liked it dipped with the french bread cubes I served with this. Overall, definitely a keeper, just not as a main (and only) course.
