My neighbor just signed on as a representative for Demarle products (sold through home parties). I went to her first demonstration the other night, and the products look neat, but I wondered if anyone here has actually used them? Demarle is apparently the manufacturer of Silpats, and they also make a line of the flexible silicone baking pans, muffin pans, etc. The other things in the catalog included a line of knives and pans. I ordered a muffin pan, so if no one else has any reviews I will be sure to post. I told my friend I would have a party for her (I hate doing those, but she is a really good friend), so will probably wind up ordering at least one more thing. The products are not cheap -- the cake pans were $31.95, and the muffin pans, etc were $51.95, knives and pans were also fairly high-priced.

I have several of their pans (muffin, round, sunflower, bread loaf). I like them all for certain things. I find my breads cook differently in the bread loaf than in my "regular" loaf pans. I always have to adjust the timing. Love the round pan for casseroles and for cheescakes! No need to use a springform pan...you can just lift the cheeseckae right out without a problem....it's great! The muffin pan holds more batter per "muffin cup" so you will find you'll need to be mindful of this when you fill your muffin cups.

All in all I like them and they are certainly easy to store. Unfortunately the price is steep and I can only afford the ones I currently have!
