View Full Version : Jumping the gun on March ?

Hi all, I am kind of new to Cooking Light and I do know that the January and February issue were combined but I just can't wait for the March issue, when will we get it ? The end of February? Begining of March? Mid March.... I just can't wait!

Well I'm still waiting for my Jan/Feb issue here in Canada... think it's almost time I report it? I guess not since I live all the way down here, but it feels like it's been in the store forever. I have to be strict and not allow myself to look at it or buy it from the store.

My goodness! You still don't have January/February! And here I am already thinking of March. I hope it comes soon. I would call!

I have subscribed to CL for 2 1/2 years now. Every issue seems to arrive late. I usually get the current months issue around the 10th of the month. CL says after the 7th it's considered late??? I love the magazine and the price so I keep renewing. It is frustrating. I also subscribe to other food magazines and always get them before the month begins. CL never offers a reasonable explanation. Good things come to those who wait! and wait and wait!!!

I realize this is an awful thing to say, but while I too am looking forward to March issue, I realize that I make many more recipes from the J/F issue than the others, because I have more time to concentrate on the "issue at hand"!! So let's look at the bright side.

I would definitely call CL and complain. Good heavens, it's already February! I am in Canada too (other end though--Quebec) and got my Jan/Feb issue several weeks ago.

Alice, you might as well go ahead and buy Jan/Feb. I finally called and complained this week that I never received mine and they are all sold out. They will extend your subscription another month though.

Well, when I still hadn't received my J/F last week, I also called and was told they were out. I'm such a darn CL freak that I had to run out to the bookstore that night to buy it, because I was afraid they would run out too. Well, the next day I got the J/F issue in the mail!! I was not happy.
