DF bought me a Tangerine KA for my birthday!
It is so cheerful & pretty! It is my first mixer! This thing is heavy!
And to top that off, I have found INCREDIBLE deals this past week. A $300 Wusthof knife set for $18! (It is missing 2 knives from the set & was the last one in stock, thus the extreme reduction) & several Calphalon pots for 80% off (Chefzhat, the "good" department store kind... not the ones from Target). ;)
I have never had so much fancy kitchen stuff before so I am very happy.
Happy like my tangerine baby.

It is amazing how the mixer element does not touch the inside of the bowl but somehow picks up all the ingredients stuck to the side.
I made the Jamacian Banana Bread in it this weekend... so much easier than setting down the hand mixer inbetween alternating ingredients.
Now I want to do dough!
I am really happy about my Wusthof deal, too. You can't even buy a single knife for $18. I can always pick up the 2 missing knives somewhere else or substitute some other knife in their slots in the knife block.
Now I am in the mood to cook again. :)

You missed it, Rebecca, probably when you were in Scotland:
