Avatar help...

Before my daughter hears me swearing my head off, can someone please tell me how to use one of my own pix as an avatar? I created an imagestation account and can paste the link but it will not register and I wind up with a little red X Box under my name.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has to be no bigger than 50x50. If it's too big then you can go to
gifworks.com (http://www.gifworks.com) to resize. Thumbnails from imagestation won't work here. Once you resize at gifworks.com you can then post it here.

The only things I can think of is that your picture might be too big or that your pasted link ends with .thumb instead of .jpg, etc. If you just delete the .thumb part, it will work.

If it doesn't work, then check the size of your picture. I think you have to get it down to 50 x 50 pixels. There might also be a limit on the number of bytes, but once you get it to 50 x 50 pixels it should be small enough.
