I'm currently (anxiously) waiting for my brother & sister in law to get word that it is their time to travel over to Europe to adopt a child. I figured one thing that would be very nice for them when they get back is to have a couple of nice, pre-made goodies in their freezer to quickly pull out for dinners and such as they are adjusting to their new life. (I'm also unsure if I should consider "the kid" to be eating with family... they are hoping to get a toddler under the age of 2 or 3, but we won't know until they get there).
I've got a couple ideas (the family lasgana recipe, the family chili recipe, enchiladas) but I'm looking for more suggestions on stuff that has proven to stand up to the freezer treatment. Also, can anyone tell me how "cooked" meat might stand up to a freezer treatment? My sis in law loves beef and pork, and one thing I figured they might like is the Korean Pork Tenderloin, but I'm not sure if that could be frozen.
TIA!
