Can anyone advise me on some great restaurants, shops, sights, etc. in Salt Lake City or Park City, Utah? We are travelling there next month and have yet to figure out what we're doing once we get there.

DH and I will be travelling with our 14 month old DD and my parents (babysitters!), so let me know if your suggestions are good for the whole family or just adults.

Thanks!

Hi Shelly, welcome to the boards!

Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions for you on Utah but I did want to suggest that you try posting this thread over on the Other Stuff board. It gets more traffic than this board, and there's often similar threads (travel, etc.) over there, so hopefully someone who lives near or has been to these places recently will respond.

For the most part, Park City restaurants are mediocre and overpriced, so bring a full wallet. Of course, they wouldn't be so mediocre if the price was about 40% lower:D

Since you are going off-seaon, the prices many actually have dropped. If this is the case you'll do fine. My experience has always been high season.

There is a good Thai place on Main Street. There are also several Italian that will fill the bill. However, if you are looking for the best quality (and astronomical prices) head a couple of miles up the road to Deer Valley.
