Once opened, how long does whipping cream last?

I did a search for this but found nadda.

I'm just wondering how long whipping cream will last once opened. I opened a new carton on Sunday and won't likely use anymore until next weekend. Will it be okay? I don't want to freeze it. The best by date isn't until mid-June.

It's just like any other perishable product and should last until the expiration date or bring it back to the store.

Keep it in the coolest part of the fridge at the back and keep the top sealed to prevent it from picking up odors.

If you keep it in a cold part of your refrigerator you shouldn't have any problems. I had an opened carton in my refrigerator too and it whipped up just fine. If it goes bad, you'll know. It starts to get big lumps in it.

I have it in the side door of my fridge but will move it to the back to be safe. I may use it this weekend, if not, time will tell if it lasts until next weekend.
