My colleague just told me that she threw out her Swiffer wet mop sheets. According to her dog breeder, they contain antifreeze -- enough that dogs and cats have died. I don't have this product myself and don't know first-hand, but if you do, please check the warning label if you have small children or pets. Better to be safe than sorry!

If someone knows for sure would be certain to post. I don't use them, but one of the clients I dog sit for has them. I'd like to leave her a message if this is true.

Luckily, according to the ASPCA (http://www.aspca.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=16054&security=2220&news_iv_ctrl=1400), at least, this is just an unfounded rumor. But thanks for looking out for us!

Thanks for the info! My friend was concerned for her dog; I'll let her know the Swiffers are safe. Sorry for the false alarm, everyone.

No problem - the Internet just makes it easy to spread these stories, and when they're emailed from friends, they certainly seem credible.
