I live in Downers Grove, and would definitely be interested in joining a supper club. I'm a man, by the way, just thought I'd let you know since it appears most of these clubs are dominated by women, but there are a few of us guys who like to cook too :) I LOVE Cooking Light, and like to try out several of the recipes from each issue. I have a friend that might be interested in joining the club as well.

Hi Everyone,

Currently I live in Philadelphia and belong to a Supper Club here, but I will be moving to Forest Park in about 2 weeks. Actually, we don't move in to our new place until the end of July. Anyway, I have LOVED being a part of my group here. It's really a lot of fun, and I wanted to join or start a group in the Chicago area, so please add me to your list and let me know what the plan is.

When our group started, we traded e-mails and then set a date and time and met in a cafe at the mall, on neutral territory. We talked about how we wanted to run the club, ie, how often to meet, that we wanted everyone to bring a dish rather than cooking together, etc. Maybe we could do that!

I would love to meet. I just found out my brother from down in Georgia is coming up this weekend, and I'm supposed to have dinner with him on Sunday. This was unexpected, and I have to travel to Indiana to meet him.

But, if we met early on Sunday, say 11ish or noonish, I believe I could make it. If that's not possible, I would completely understand. I am still interested in joining even if I can't make Sunday's meeting.
