before the review, i have to do a little hubby bragging...
for a surprise early valentine's meal, my hamburger helper lovin' hubby got on the CL website and found under "menu ideas" an "elegant dinner for two". i had to stay out of the kitchen, while he prepared the feast. (he did ask me if we had parchment paper and i got very scared!)
when dinner was ready, i was thoroughly surprised to find filet mignon with peppercorn mustard sauce, pommes frites with chives, green beens almandine, and for dessert (i almost died) a strawberry-chocolate meringue torte!!! WOW... it was the sweetest thing and it was also DELICIOUS! every bit of it! way to go, CL and Chris!!!
