What kind of prep time was involved? Is this a 30 minute or less kind of recipe? Thanks.

Prep time took about 15 - 20 minutes. Probably the most laborious part was chopping the peppers....piece of cake..

I made this last night as well. I was disappointed that the filling did not heat up but stayed rather cool. I don't know if I'd make this again.

while we are on the topic of calzones...my husband makes the best!!! Makes the pizza dough up in the bread maker, stuffs the calzones full of lots of fresh veggies and feta cheese...We don't put any marinara in the calzone prior to cooking...We just heat up the sauce and use it for dipping!!!! YUMMY. Squash, onion, mushrooms, black olives, and zucchini are our favorite stuffings!! Oh yeah, don't forget the feta!!

this was good, my only suggestion was to cook it a bit longer. my filling did not warm up as well i wanted and after it cooled a bit you could tell the dough was a bit doughy. Well the Muir Glen pasta sauce that was recommended was fantastic this was the first time i have purchased it, for a jar of sauce the muir glen people do a great job!
