Hi - I was just over on Amazon and checking out books and found this one out there... and it qualifies for the free shipping with the other books I want to order... just wondering if anyone has this one and their thoughts on it...
I know TOT is a popular one, but I am more interesting in quick meals which this one is supposed to be made up of ... I already have the WW Make it in Minutes and have enjoyed many recipes from there. Any reviews out there? I did a search and couldn't find anything.
TIA!!

Patsy, I have this book, but I haven't made anything from it yet....:o . I just have too many cookbooks to look through. I really should start using my WW books more, maybe I can lose my last 10 lbs!

I have this book and have tried several of the recipes, all of which were good! Here's a list of what I've had and the notes I made about each recipe.
Tex-Mex Chicken, Corn, and Black Bean Salad -- Very good, tastes like chicken taco salad; omitted cilantro and used canned diced tomatoes
Cajun Shrimp Pizza -- Good but a little bland, so we added some more Cajun seasoning and it was great after that! Next time will coat the shrimp in Cajun seasoning before baking. Left off the cheese.
Chili Tacos -- Very good! Used soy crumbles instead of ground beef, used a shredded pork chop, and used red bell pepper. Omitted sour cream and cilantro. Lots of flavor, not too spicy, and very filling!
Southern Barbecue Sloppy Joes -- Excellent! Better than our usual favorite sloppy joes! Used red bell pepper instead of green.
Sausage and White Bean Stew -- Yum!! Very tasty, needed no extra seasonings. Pretty filling, too. Used 10 oz frozen leaf spinach.
Crunchy Tex-Mex Chicken Fingers -- Pretty good, might make again. Mildly spicy, good flavor. Didn't get "crunchy" at all, even with convection oven, but not soggy either. Used boneless, skinless chicken breast and sliced into strips.
Asian Noodles in Satay Sauce -- Pretty good, might make again. Used canned straw mushrooms and Thai-flavored Peanut Better (which added some heat to the sauce). Next time would add extra ginger and soy sauce.

pilgrim719 -
thanks for the review! I think I'll treat myself to another cookbook!
If anyone else has the cookbook and can share favorite recipes from it, I'd love to hear from you too...
Thanks!
