Wow - not much happening lately over here on these parts!
Anyway - we are a group that would welcome some "new blood" this summer. Maybe if someone just wants for the summer or would like to commit more. We'd love some more company.
A ltittle about us: We welcome anyone - including the whole family. Meet about once a month, generally on a Sunday evening. We stick pretty much to all CL recipes and even choose designated menus at times from the current issue. We prepare and do some cooking together and then there's other dishes that just have to be made ahead. We eat and critique and have an overall good easy time.
Anyone??

katie...i sent your post to my sister and niece.
my sister lives in port townsend but works in bremerton. sundays would be difficult for her to attend. do you ever do mid-week?
my niece also lives in bremerton. however, right now she is in europe and won't get the notice of this club for a week or so.
i'll keep in touch with them and see what we can do...
good luck....nancy

Nancy - thanks for your reply. :-)
hmmm..... I think in all or our 3 year history we've never met on a weekday. There's been the occasional Saturday but that's all. So, I don't know that we'd necessarily be a good investment for your sister, but we'd love to have her if she'd be up to it. Please apprise your niece and feel free to bring this thread back up again if she's interested or PM me directly.
I've noticed you on the board and wondered where Greenwater is. Sounds familiar but can't quite place it.
Thanks again - and I'll wait to hear about your niece later.

Katie,
I am very interested in joining the Supper Club. Aunt Nancy always talks about her club and it sounds like so much fun. When she forwarded me the link, I was so excited to hear that one was in this area!! I just got back from Europe, so forgive my delay in responding. Please post or email me the details of supper club. Sundays work fine for me, so I will be anxiously awaiting the details.
Tschüs (bye in German! One of the few words I picked up over there!)

Laura - Welcome home. I hope your trip was wonderful.
Our next get together is actually this weekend, August 1st. We've just moved the time from late in the afternoon to earlier to avoid heat since we'll be outside for this one. So this Sunday at noon in west Bremerton is the time and place. Can you make it?

Actually, I think I could...my husband is still in Germany until September 5th, so I have no plans. Can you email or post a message about where this will be, what to bring, etc?? Do I get an assignment of what to cook? Let me know! Can't wait :)

Can you tell me a little about your club? I live in Poulsbo and work in Port Orchard. How many members? Are you wine drinkers? Any information about your club would be great!
