Did anyone watch her crab episode yesterday? I'm trying to find where to get that iron skillet dish (looked like a gratin dish but in cast iron) she put her crab dip in and that beautiful green warmer thingy too! I don't remember what she called them but I would like to try to purchase one.

Not yet, but I surely will. Meantime I will have to content myself with her layered salad with the bananas in it.

You might try checking on her forum at foodtv, especially since her auntie Trina is very much in residence there.

Yes! I thought that was odd about the bananas. EWWWW! She also did an episode where she mixed cheese with pineapple and the watermelon with feta. That was a little bit too much for my taste.

Green warmer thingy? I do have all of her books. I missed the show but will be on again in July on the 8th.
Here is the only where to find info that is offered for that show.

Here is a list of the recipes
Boiled Crabs Bathed in Garlic Butter
Crab Cakes with Lemon-Dill Sauce
Hot Crab Dip
Crab Bisque

I have noticed in the past when she uses cast iron dishes on her show it is almost always staub.

Ok I had to go look at the hot crab dip recipe, I am assuming that you are talking about this dish and the trivet it is sitting on,

Still looking for a source for it.http://images.scrippsweb.com/FOOD/2003/09/29/pa1a21_crab_dip_e.jpg

In the picture you got of the dip it looks like a regular cast iron skillet, but in the episode it looked like a gratin dish, it had 2 handels on each side it looked lovely :) You've gotta see the episode! Thank you for looking!
