So I've discovered what Texans have on the 4th:
Brisket. Smoked, misquite, hickory, you name it. yum!
Quail stuffed with onions, jalapeno, and rosemary, grilled. Tasty and meaty little devils.
Venison sausage - homemade
BBQ Pulled Pork
Brown Sugar Vanilla Ice Cream - homemade, with brown sugar instead of regular. Sooooo good!
Apricot Ice Cream - again, homemade.
Oh, and lots and lots of fireworks.
