Need good meat recipe for v-day

I am looking for a good meat/steak recipe for Valentine's Day. I was thinking of the Filet Mignon recipe that was a "Back to the Best" recently. Has anyone tried this? I will probably serve with potatoes - perhaps the blue cheese mashed potatoes. Anyone have a good, easy recipe to share?

I cannot say enough good things about that recipe--if you like beef-you will love it. I could eat the mushroom wine sauce with a spoon. Yum!

goldilocks, how are you cooking the steak? Grill? I have a wonderfully simple simple dry marinade that I put on my steak when we have it. It's got wonderful flavor and is very easy to make...let me know if you are interested and I'll dig it out for you. It's the only way I eat steak now- I can't find anything remotely as good!
