Good or not, I would have an upset tummy after eating it just from worrying!

I would eat it - but only if I cooked it to death - like for a spaghetti sauce or chili or something. I wouldn't use it for burgers or meat loaf.

I too, would eat it. As Linda in MO said, it probably didn't thaw until Monday, and that's been only two days. I'm sure it's fine, unless it smells funny.

I took a pound of ground beef out of the freezer on Sunday evening. It's been in the fridge since then. I want to cook a meatloaf with it tonight (Wednesday). Do you think it's still good? How would I know if it was bad?

Usually you'd know by the smell and the color if the chopmeat was bad. Trust your nose! Should you decide to use it, be sure to cook it well.
As you know, you're on the borderline. According to the following web site-- a very handy guide, BTW for such things-- you've got 2-3 days.

I am a fan of TVFN's "Cooking Live" with host Sara Moulton. She has had Shirley Coriher on as her guest several times. She is a food chemist and has a wonderful book called "Cookwise". She says ground meat defrosted should be eaten in 2 days. I agree your nose is the best indicator, but personally I wouldn't eat it.

Personally, I would eat it. You said you put it in the fridge Sun. night, so it probably didn't thaw out until Mon. night or so. If it looked and smelled good to me, than I would cook it.
