cider vinegar in pasta salad?

Hi All!
I'm making a quickie pasta salad with garden rotini, veggies, and italian dressing (just a shortcut seasoning packet with oil & vinegar:o ) - and I just realized I only have cider vinegar for the dressing. Oops! Can I just use the cider vinegar - or will it taste awful?
