US Olympic Gymnastics team chosen

Did any of you see this on NBC last night? After a training camp, a committee chose the six girls and three alternates that will go to Athens. I thought it was so dramatic and kind of sad. There are really talented girls that did not make the team because there are so many good competitors right now. These girls are unbelievable.

I can't wait for the Olympics!!

I see Mohini Bhardwaj made the team. She's the athlete Pamela Anderson supported by donating $20k to her training fund.

Apparently this is the strongest team in US history.

Yes, it is the strongest team. They said there are girls that didn't make the team that in other years would have been considered medal contenders. Should be exciting in Athens!

I saw some of the trials (when was it? Last week?) and they were looking strong. Gymnastics is one of my favorite events in the summer olympics. I'm looking forward to it too. :D
