ISO Chocolate Rad Recipe

I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I am looking for the recipe for "Chocolate Rad" cookies from Bon Appetit, 1992. Not sure of the month. I've tried the epicurious.com web site, but am unable to find it.

Oh, my! Those cookies look wonderful...as do most cookies dropped from a quarter-cup scoop!

This sure looks worth trying and my brother-in-law says it seems pretty close. The original recipe was in the RSVP section of Bon Appetit, a recipe from a bakery in Napa Valley. If we find the recipe before anyone else does, we'll be sure to post it here. They are killers!!!!!
