The music is in quotes because what I'm really looking for is new age, nature type stuff. There are a thousand and one CDs out there of this type, some of them good, most of them not. Anyways, what I'm looking for is mostly nature sounds, water and thunderstorms preferable, tree frogs are tolerable, music in the background should be minimal. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Shoot. I can't remember the name of that store - was it "The Nature Company"? They carry stuff like that (if they're still in business). I used to have an awesome thunderstorm CD that was great to fall asleep too...

Now I'm wondering where that CD went too... where do these things wander off to?

Oh well. Hopefully someone will have ideas better than mine...

:)

Bethany--I think Sharper Image carried some of those CDs, but I can't remember any specific titles.

I don't have personal experience with any of these, but it looks like you can listen to sound samples first:

The first place I thought of, too, was Nature Company, but came up empty-handed when I googled it, so they likely are out of business as a stand-alone.

But when I googled naturecompany.com (http://naturecompany.com/), it linked to the Discovery Channel Store, so that would be a good option!

I found that too, but I can't find any CDs there. :(

Eva - your link looks pretty good! Nice long samples. Thanks!
