This is REALLY schmaltzy. Hold onto your oatmeal. I must be hormonal or something.

My kids are attending Vacation Bible School next week and the little registration/welcome letter arrived today. One of the preparation things we are supposed to do with them before they attend is to have a brief conversation about little things they are grateful for in their lives and collect a few to donate and send off for a mission project.

The point of this all is, it made me think how grateful I am for you guys. I learn so much from you all and am glad for the opportunity to express my thoughts here. Thanks. :) (no, I won't be shipping you off to Haiti or anything, don't worry!)

Living so far from home, friends, family and in a very foreign culture has often been difficult. I can truthfully say that you guys have saved my sanity. Thanks for helping me stay connected to the rest of the world. :)

Living in a small rural town, has it's benefits, but also it's drawbacks. There is a whole lot , out there, that I would have no idea about, unless I read it here.

For instance, LUSH. Just the other day, someone posted about this Store/brand.

This is just a great place to be for all kinds of information, spirited discussions, support, and all that! This really is a wonderful community.
