Thanks to Kari for posting a link to KA's website, I noticed they have a store in VT. I am going to be heading up that way for a conference this weekend and may check it out. Has anyone been and would it be worth it?

We run up there about twice a year and I order lots in between. I think a visit is worth it. It's small but everything in their catalog is in the store for you to look at and touch in person.

Yes! I love that store. It is small but you notice so much more than you do in the catalogue.

Definitely worth the stop!
I have been going there twice a year for a long time and the store is great for parting me with my money. I also buy fro the catalog in between. Go for it.

Marianne, it is the King Arthur Flour company store, and as far as I know Norwich VT is the only location.
I've been there twice, and it's definitely worth a stop if you like to bake. They have everything from the catalog and more, plus an onsite bakery (and baking classes if you have time!). A lot of fun.
Actually, my first visit there was in the context of a conference trip too. I dragged along a colleague who was very amused by my excitement!

thanks ,Stephanie, you wouldn't have to drag me. We were by chance in Norwich during their famous ruummage sale. I remember my husband crswling under a table to get a pair of five cents shoes!! But did not know about KA then. May get in a motor home trip this year in that ddirection. Thanks again, nonibear

I can't wait to pull of the highway to stop on the way home next week, if only for cinnamon chips for the much-loved Easy Cinnamon loaf that made the rounds here a couple months back. Just this week I rescued a chunk of it from the back of my freezer for a great toast breakfast, then wept crocodile tears because I was cinnamon chipless!
