I'm feeling like a slouch sitting at the computer this morning while I hear the yard guy's lawnmower approaching my window. I'm still in my jammies and enjoying the quiet moment, but beginning to feel a little guilty. Lawn mower enters into view -- not one of the usual guys. I think this is his son, and he appears to be about my son's age. Now what makes me feel eally bad is that my son asked to mow the lawn to earn money at the beginning of the summer. :o
When I said not right now, please understand that this is the guy who has fallen and had 5 trips to the ER or dr for xrays in a one year period, and he has never been the kind to like to get dirty or sweaty, so I figured he would give it up after a weeke or two. The other factor was that we traded our old car to the lawn guy for a year of yard service. The value was there for us (the car was 10+ years old and needed paint, so would not have had much tradein or resale) and he wanted to help his brother.
But I still feel bad. Maybe he can help his dad clean out the garage! ;)
