Reruns?

Oh, dear. I fear I've just aged terribly in the last ten minutes...

BTW, Mamasue,

I've always wondered what they were saying in that "yakkity-yak" part. Now I know. Thanks.

Oh, this is great, Mamasue! I used to love this show! The reruns of course, but I loved the whole Nick at Nite thing...the Patty Duke Show, Bewitched and Dobie Gillis were my favorites http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Mamasue: Will this be before a sex-on-the-beach or after? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

Gail: I'm old, but I used to watch Mr. Ed
reruns after school. I was really little when it ran on primetime, so I know how you feel!

I have to admit though that I watched the orginial programs not the reruns. And I believe that they were in Black and White! Now I am showing my age! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

Mamasue,
Wonderful idea! Though I think I should warn you that you might have to do a solo down in Sweet Birmingham since we couldn t convince Gail to come! But I will take you up on your offer! You can do it right after your kitchen demo using your sandwich-maker gizmo and right before teaching your graphics lesson. Vacation? What vacation? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif You ll have no time for that drink! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/tongue.gif But hey, Wendy, I ll join ya... hehehehe

Gail,
Don t worry; I don t think it s an age thing. Emily knows what you re talking about, and she s younger than I am! So don t fret http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

"Hello, I'm Mr. Ed"
A horse is a horse of course of course,
and no one can talk to a horse of course.
That is of course unless the horse
is the famous Mister Ed!

Go right to the source and ask the horse.
He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse
He's always on a steady course.
Talk to Mister Ed!

People yakkity-yak a streak
and waste your time of day,
but Mister Ed will never speak
unless he has something to say!

A horse is a horse of course of course,
and this one'll talk 'til his voice is hoarse.
You never heard of a talking horse?
Well, listen to this...

" I am Mister Ed!"

Mamasue,
Now, I have no idea who Mr. Ed is http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/redface.gif, but I still find this priceless. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif Thanks for the laugh.

Oh, Mamasue!

I LOVE it! Which you probably gathered from my blast of laughter which probably was heard from California to Massachusetts.

Thanks for brightening my day! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

Mamasue: You are a lunatic, but that's a good thing! Thanks for the laugh.

Natasha: I'm sorry to hear that you have been deprived of Mr. Ed reruns. It must have been before your time.
