green papaya

I found a couple of recipes for green papaya and am unsure if this is the same kind of yellow-ish papaya that I have used (unripe?) or something totally different. Help, please!

I just saw a Food Network show this afternoon (Boy Meets Grill) where Bobby Flay uses green papaya in a salad. He described it as unripe papaya, and it's crunchy and "refreshing".
