I had posted a request for a cajun recipe a few days ago. Someone had a reply that the CL cajun crabby dip was good.....Can anyone post the recipe if they have it? I don't know if it was recent or old. the party is tomorrow and I would like to make it today!!!! YIKES!!!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/eek.gif The pressure!!!!!

I think it's from 1999 Annual cookbook. Sorry I don't have the recipe available. Perhaps this may jog someone else's memory/etc. Hope this helps. sally

michelern, Just happened to have my '99 annual handy so here goes:
Crabby Cajun Dip
2C plain l/f yogurt
2oz. 1/3 less fat neufchatel (abt. 1/4 cup)
1Tbs. Dijon Mustard
2tsp. anchovy paste
2tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4-1/2 tsp hot sauce
1 lb. lump crabmeat
1/4 C minced red bell pepper
1/4 C minced green bell pepper
1/4 C minced green onions
1. Spoon yogurt onto several layers of paper towels; spread to 1/2 inch thickness. Cover with additional paper towels; let stand 5 minutes. Scrape into a bowl cover and refrig.
2. Combine cream cheese and next 8 ingredients, stir well with a whisk. Stir in yogurt. Stir in crabmeat and remaining ingredients. Yield:3 3/4 cups serving size: 1/4 cup.
