I just bought stuffed salmon from BJ's to cook tonight. What's the best way? Grill? Broil?
I usually never buy already prepared stuff like this, but it looked so good! Thanks!

Tiger,
I would grill the salmon! By placing it skin side down and covering the grill it doesn't have to be turned. I love grilled salmon!

my vote is grilling and here is a good sauce for grilling salmon
SALMON SAUCE
2-3 stalks of green onion finely chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
3-4 tbsp soy sauce
1-2 tsp sesame oil
2-3 tbsp ketchup
salt and pepper, to taste
2-3 tbsp hoisen sauce
2-3 tbsp wine
2-3 tbsp honey
little minced ginger
mix all together
soak salmon in half of it then baste on the grill with the other half
This can also be used on meat.

Ditto on the grilled salmon. My DH love to grill salmon about once a week!!!

I like to bake it at a pretty high temp --about 450. Put some foil down first for easier clean up. What is it stuffed with? The grill might dry it out.

Indirect grilling is really no different than baking it in the oven (if you're using a gas grill) because you can control the temp much like an oven. Grilling on charcoals might take a bit more finese but it should still be ok.

I've found that while my grill is put away for the winter, I do a lot of broiling when it comes to salmon. I like the crispiness broiling produces- a nice substitute for grilling (though if a grill is handy, I'll use it). As a matter of fact, I just had salmon filets last night- broiled 5 minutes or so, then topped with a delicious (low-fat) bernaise sauce.

If you can't grill, baking fish in parchment paper turns out well too. The juices seal in the paper. Just place the fish in the middle of the paper, and fold the paper around it to for a half-circle. One tip - grease the top (outside) of the parchement paper so that it doesn't burn/char.
