What kind of accessories are there to go with iPods?

I need to find a birthday present for my younger brother, who just bought himself an iPod. I was thinking perhaps there are some sort of nifty accessories that go with them--like cases, car adaptors, etc. and that maybe he might like something like that. I don't have one or know anyone personally who owns one, so I don't know what kind of stuff is out there. Can anyone fill me in on the must-have iPod accessories? Thanks!

One thing I didn't see on the website, that I've hear about, is some kind of adaptor that makes the iPod into a stereo. It looked like you just slipped the iPod int between a set of speakers and there ya go!
