I am a new subscriber and am looking for a supper club in the northeast metro Atlanta area. If there are none, then I would love to hear from people who would be interested in starting one. Ideally it would be for couples or a mix of couples and singles. My husband and I are looking for "grown-up" socializing opportunites since becoming parents four months ago.

Hi Jennifer! My name is Donna, and I just recently moved back to Atlanta after a brief 15 months in the Poconos in NE PA!! My husband and I started a supper club while we were there, and had a fabulous time! We live in Duluth and would absolutely be interested in starting up and/or becoming a part of a club here. We just moved into our new home on Saturday and have not had time to think straight, but on a whim I just decided to log onto CL to check out the postings. My husband and I are professionals,in our 40's and have no children (at home). I do work every fourth weekend at Emory University Hospital, but other than that, we are usually flexible and available to participate in club activities. I look forward to hearing from you.

Jennifer,
I started a thread about wanting to start a supper club earlier this summer. Donna responded to it and told me about your thread that she had responded to. So here I am.
My husband and I live in the Snellville area. We, like Donna, are professionals in our 40's. We have neighbors, who are profesisonals in their 30's, who we cook with regularly (Cooking Light ) and they would be interested in participating in a supper club. They also have another couple they think would be interested in participating.
It's great that you have experience starting this sort of thing. Where should we go from here?
And Donna, bless your bones. I'd rather have every tooth pulled in my head than move. And when I've moved it has been within the same city. I can't imagine a move from one state to another. Hope you're getting settle in okay.

I am excited to read these replies, and I, too, am glad that someone has experience with this. My husband and I are in Lawrenceville, so it seems that we are all relatively close. I have absolutely no idea what to do at this point except to say, how do we start?!! It sounds like we have plenty of interested couples.

Hi Jennifer. I responded in the "Let's start a Supper Club in NE Atlanta" thread. Let's use that thread to continue our communications. Anyone else who may have any interest can post there as well.
