I have no clue when the thread was posted but I filled out the form when everyone else did for the cosmetics. I got mine in the mail two days ago. Did anyone else get them and what do you think? Are my wrinkles going away or is it that I am not wearing my glasses? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/confused.gif

I just got mine last week. We're doing so much work around the house (well, my husband is doing alot of work and moving furniture around, ripping up carpet) so I haven't had much time to read how to apply everything. I know zilch about make up and skin care products! I have used the eye cream this week, but haven't had a chance to use the mask, cleansers, or the facial scrub. I had totally forgotten that I ordered the stuff so it was a nice surprise!

I just received mine 3 days ago and I decided to wait until vacation in April to use them since we'll be in the sun alot. I decided if they worked I would try to find a comparable product at a lower price. Their price list just blew me away. I have one year old twins and though I believe taking care of your skin is important I can't justify spending that much money. But if I'm ever in New York I would love to go to their salon and get a facial! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I got mine this week as well and after only 4 days using it, I swear I see a difference in my skin! I can't put my finger on it exactly, but something is definitely better! Yikes, it is rather pricey, but if it works, it is worth it!

Funny you shoul bring this up. I just got mine in the mail yesterday. I am anxious to give the products a try. I have become a total make up junkie - thanks to my sister. Compared to what I have been spending on cosmetics and skin care, I don't think the prices are all that bad.

Received mine also...they're gonna have to be pretty good to steal me away from Lancome. The aloe toner seems pretty so-so, but the scrub feels great! I don't think the prices are that bad compared to other "top of the line" products.

Just got mine 2 days ago, and I do like the product, especially the heavy duty moisturizer and eye cream. I have very dry skin and it did feel much softer. Has anyone ordered full sizes yet?

I just got mine 3 days ago too. I also had forgotten all about filling out the form. I haven't used any of the products yet and for that matter haven't even looked at the price list. Now I'm afraid to. I did read about each product and smelled them. I'll probably try them this weekend.

I missed the post when it was first posted, but went back to look at it. When I went to the site, I found the consultation area, but it just said that I would be contacted after filling out the form. Did the website mention the freebies before?

gabbyh, I have used Lancome for about 15 years now, and nothing has made me switch before. Let us know how it is though - this is the first I am hearing about the line.

funnybone,
Ten years ago, my younger sister was the w/e nanny for Quintin Reynolds. He is Loni Anderson and Burt Reynolds' adopted son. All my friends went nutz wanting to know what "beauty products" Loni used...and it was Lancome all the way. According to my sister, Loni has the most beautiful skin. Although it took me a few years to make the switch, I have used their skin products faithfully, and am very pleased with the results...makes me, at almost-50, look closer to my almost-38 hubbie ;-}

LisaP and GabbyH- Truthfully, I think I do see a difference! I was joking about my glasses. Have been using MDForte from the dermatologist, it has more glycolic acid than most products. I haven't seen any difference but my DH says my face looks "softer".
I haven't looked at the prices yet, but I think that I am at that stage in life that I need the "facial support", too many years in the sun without sunscreen!! I plan to cut back on "other essentials" if necessary. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/eek.gif

SusanL--AMAZING COINCIDENCE, THIS POST! I think you're dead on about the power of this stuff! Had figured they thought my combination skin was a lost cause and killed my request. Got the cute lil samples Wed., and I am in absolute, total awe of the difference with just using this stuff 3 times!!!! UNREAL! Got the Enzyme Gel Cleanser (excellent!), Almond-Honey scrub (my fave so far!), hylauronic eye cream (fountain of youth?!), seaweed nite cream, aloe toner, cellufirm moisturizer. Don't care for the toner. But honestly, my face actually feels likes it's breathing, it's so clean! And the fine lines around my eyes, Heaven help me after a trying week as a beleagured Tar Heel, have almost disappeared! Honest to gosh! Had been using drug store stuff (Nivea Ql0 eye cream/moisturizer and Clear Logix cleanser) and thought I was doing ok, but, whoa, baby! What an ego booster! Anybody for a vacation trip to NY this year?! Can we suggest they franchise in other areas?!

Would love to know if anyone get any of the oily skin/pore reducing products. With summer coming up, would love feedback on those, thanks in advance!

I truly have never had any skin care product get me this excited! There goes my new spring wardrobe!
