John Fogerty + Bruce's E Street Band concert for Kerry

DH told me that John Fogerty was playing with Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band with Bruce and the band as backup in a concert for John Kerry.

I can't find anything about this and was wondering if anyone else knew about it. DH even said that it's being billed as John Fogerty and the E Street Band.

Any info would be greatly appreciated! The website ConcertsforKerry doesn't have any info that I was able to find.

It's actually more of an anti-Bush thing than a pro-Kerry thing, from what little I've read. I didn't read anything this past week about John Fogerty, but did read that John Mellancamp, along with various other artists, was also involved.

If you do a search for "bush and springsteen", you'll find several articles.

I've been a HUGE Springsteen fan for over 20 years now, but I don't know what I think about all this. I just don't like it when entertainment and politics get mixed together.

Oh, and I just had to also comment that I find it weird that Bruce would be doing backup for John Fogerty, but I did a search for "fogerty and springsteen" and found this (plus many other articles too):

I think it is probably part of the Vote for Change tour, which Jessica started this thread (http://community.cookinglight.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61620&highlight=vote+change) on. Springsteen and the E Street Band, Fogerty, and R.E.M. are listed together.
