Thanks, Marshalynne. I brought back shrimp from down south a couple weeks ago that are begging to go into this dish.

Dredging this up from the past.

I tried this tonight and it was wonderful. Definitely a repeater for us. I didn't have the individual gratins, so used an 8x8 square pyrex baker which worked fine. I also subbed (accidentally, but it was great) Italian seasoning, 2 T, for the parsley and added some fresh basil. YUM!

Marshalynne - Thanks for posting this recipe and thanks to rosieone for bumping it up again. I made this for dinner tonight and we really liked it - even the boys devoured it, and that always scores points with me. :)

Cheryl - Thanks for pointing out that it was a CL recipe. I found out that I already had it in my Mastercook software - saved some typing time. :)

Anyway, this one gets a thumbs up from us - very easy and very tasty. I love having meals during the week that seem fancier, but are still very easy.

Alysha :)

I was so glad to see this recipe since I had a bag of frozen deveined shrimp in the freezer. It was deveined all right, but not peeled! Imagine my surprise when I bit into one the the shrimp and encountered shell!!!! Fortunately it was just me so I didn't have to apologize to anyone. I will definitely try this recipe again, but with peeled shrimp.
I would make more of the breadcrumb mixture.
